Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out is before 11:00am.

An early check-in fee of $25 applies to arrivals before 3:00pm, and a late check-out fee of $25 applies to departures after 11:00am. Please ask the front desk about availability.

Lobby hours

The lobby is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm. If you expect to arrive later, call us on (415) 457-3993 so we can arrange your check-in.

Cancellation

Cancellations and changes must be made by 11:00am, 72 hours before arrival.

Guarantee and deposit

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking. A $100 security deposit is held at check-in for incidentals.

Identification

Guests must present a valid credit card and government-issued identification at check-in, matching the name on the reservation. If you are using a company card or someone else’s card, an authorisation form must be on file before check-in.

Taxes

A Transient Occupancy Tax of 12.20% is charged on the room rate.

Parking

There is street parking beside the hotel. The hotel has no car park of its own.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome in Mimi’s Bungalow, Maria’s Pueblo, Lady Bracknell and the Garden Room, for $15 per pet per night. Up to two well-behaved dogs per room, with a combined weight of 40 lb. Only dogs are allowed, and they cannot be left alone in the room. Service animals are always welcome.

Smoke-free

The hotel is 100% smoke-free. Smoking is not allowed in any guest room, on any deck or balcony, or in public areas. A cleaning fee of $250 per night is charged to your card if smoking occurs.

Breakfast

The hotel does not serve breakfast. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and the Panama Hotel Restaurant serves dinner from Tuesday to Saturday.

Housekeeping

You can ask housekeeping to freshen the bathroom, empty the bins and make the bed. If you need anything else, please ask at the front desk.
